About

Professional PictureMy name is Oludamilola (Say that fast three times :-) ) Some people call me Olu, some call me Damilola, but I usually go by Dami or Dammy.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am currently a engineering student working on his PhD in the MidWest of the United States.

This blog started out as an idea in my head. I read a lot of books: history, finance, self-help and quite a bit of fiction. All these books (well the non-fiction ones) have taught me certain values and principles and are still teaching me more as I read. That being said, this blog was a way to share some of the ideas and thoughts I have gained and developed through these readings.

I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing.

You will find that most of the posts are on Personal Development and Personal Finance. Sometimes I relate these two areas to science or engineering (Examples are here and here) and sometimes I just refer to other places where I have found very interesting articles.

Overall, I don’t know it all. Like Plato said “This I know, that I know nothing,”  and I am still learning certain aspects of living. I can say for sure that it is learning that has got me to this point and it is learning that will take me to other places
