Anyway, I also recommend sharing textbooks with friends. Split the cost. Also, get to know upper classmen through professional organizations. How come you didnt mention anything about selling your used textbooks? Even if one has to buy a new textbook at full price due to some constraints, they can still recover some money by reselling the book at a book store or amazon etc. later.
